About Us

Western North Carolina Native Keith Buchanan decided to open his own retail computer establishment, A+ Computers, Inc. in 1996. Keith, having over 20 Years of Technology Experience including: Computer Technologist for McDowell County Schools, and OPUS Instructor / Site Security Coordinator for the North Carolina Dept. of Corrections, knew the demand for Quality I.T. Engineering in Western North Carolina.

After opening and growing the commercial accounts customer base he realized by 1998 that the market needed a company geared solely for small, medium and larger business clients. With this in mind he and his wife, Dianna Duncan Buchanan, closed retail operations to the general public in 1998 to focus on providing those business clients with the highest possible service including RESPONSE TIME and QUALITY of WORK in a COST EFFECTIVE MANNER, while always keeping our customers best interest in mind even if it meant losing a sale!

The company name, changed as did the focus and is now AplusNetworking; with our dedication to service of our business clients priority one.

Our mission statement reads : "Helping your Business Survive Today, While Planning for Tomorrow". This statement rings true frequently as new clients often call in a CRISIS and upon resolving the crisis we can then offer an I.T. Strategic Plan to help our clients prepare for the future.

Completed the recovery of crashed Domain Server databases, files, software, etc. and Installed completely new workstations and reconfigured a temporary server to get customer functional in less than 24 hours from crash. New server and systems completely swapped out in less than four days turn-around from date of crash.
